Epsom Salt Uses in Household and Gardening:
Fertilize your houseplants – Epsom salt is commonly applied to potted plants or magnesium dependent crops such as tomatoes, peppers, and potatoes to name a few. Simply sprinkle a dash of Epsom salt once a week to help nourish your plants.
Keep your lawn green – In gardening Epsom salt is used to correct a magnesium or sulfur deficiency in soil. By adding 2 table spoons mixed with water and watering your lawn once a week you can keep your grass greener and fuller.
Insecticide spray – Epson salts use on your lawn and in your plants is also a great way to safely and naturally get rid of plant pests. It is non toxic and will also deter slugs, snails, and even racoons!
Hand Wash – Make your own hand washing by mixing Epsom salt with baby oil.
Clean bathroom tiles – Mix Epsom salt and liquid dish detergent for a great cleaner for your tiles.
